What is the standard deductible?
$100 per repair on Comprehensive for Medium Duty and on Heavy Duty Business Essential. TruckGuardian Certified carries a $500 deductible.
How long can coverage run?
Comprehensive for Medium Duty runs from 18 months with unlimited miles up to 7 years or 250,000 miles, with 5-year / 100,000-mile and 6-year / 125,000-mile options between. Business Essential runs up to 60 months. Certified is 90 days or 30,000 miles.
Is the contract transferable if I sell the truck?
Comprehensive for Medium Duty is transferable. For the other programs, refer to the vehicle service contract.
Does the coverage include towing?
Yes. Motor club membership is included: the first 50 miles or two hours port-to-port are free, through a network of 25,000 towing providers, along with flat tire and tire replacement, battery, oil, fluid and fuel delivery, lockout and winching. Certified includes towing reimbursement.
Are DPF and EGR failures covered?
On Heavy Duty Business Essential, failure of the diesel particulate filter and EGR valves is covered for the first 12 months or 100,000 miles after coverage begins, whichever comes first. Comprehensive for Medium Duty lists emissions among its covered component groups.
Is what I read here the contract?
